DocuWare Printer PS is a virtual PostScript printer that lets you print from any application directly into a DocuWare document management system. Instead of sending pages to a physical device, it converts the print job into a digital document—typically a PDF—and routes it to a predefined DocuWare tray or file cabinet. Administrators can configure destinations, naming conventions, and index fields so files arrive properly classified and ready for workflows. This is especially useful for capturing print-only reports from business systems, standardizing document intake, and accelerating digital archiving without changing the source application. It preserves the original layout, supports batch processing, and works with DocuWare Desktop Apps for secure transfer and further processing.
